residential treatment programs for youth

Mountain Valley Child and Family Services strives to help clients reach their goals with a continuum of support, collaboration, and prevention while providing a homelike setting. The treatment team uses strength-based, trauma informed, evidence-based, culturally sensitive and supportive strategies to provide safe and effective learning opportunities. We believe that those we serve are capable of the positive permanent changes which benefit themselves and their communities. Our behavior support and management policies and procedures assist in promoting positive behavior while ensuring the safety of clients and staff.

The foundation of our behavioral support and management program consists of a variety of rewards and consequences that gradually shape behavior over time. Clients are given immediate feedback on their behavior and receive rewards or consequences accordingly. Assuring the safety and dignity of the clients is our most important responsibility. Our behavioral interventions are administered in an atmosphere of respect to ensure the autonomy and dignity of our clients is promoted and preserved.
