Our Concord and Brentwood behavioral health agencies provide mental health programs and services, including Child and Family Services—Outpatient (CFS-OP), to families in these areas.
We provide community-based mental health services, substance abuse, and related services for individuals with learning and developmental disabilities.
Mountain Valley Child and Family Services (MVCFS) provides Medi-Cal Services as defined in Title 9 of the California Code of Regulations. MVCFS makes available the following mental health treatment services seven days per week, according to the children’s treatment plans:
- Family Therapy
- Specialty Mental Health Services
- Intensive Care Coordination (ICC)
- Intensive Home-Based Services (IHBS)
- Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
- Targeted Case Management
MVCFS mental health services are offered to all children to meet assessed needs. MVCFS maintains Medi-Cal certifications through Nevada County, Sacramento County and Contra Costa County Departments of Mental Health. The services below reflect the Contra Costa services that are provided through community-based services.
All clients who meet medical necessity as determined by their placing county and state regulations are eligible to receive specialty mental health services through MVCFS.
