
Family therapy begins with a strength-based assessment of family dynamics which may be contributing to the emotional disturbance of the child. Problem solving techniques and communication skills are included in family therapy. Family therapy is imperative to the successful and sustainable reunification of the child with the family. Family therapy is provided (normally twice a month) by BBS Licensed/Waived Mental Health Professionals (LPHA). Measurable Long term goals and short term objectives are addressed with structured therapeutic interventions.
